Just a quick note to say hey — and Kidstorm is alive and well. It remains one of the most frequently visited parts of my website, and I refresh it periodically. I just went through it and updated dead links (it’s REALLY hard to keep up, so let me know if you find one that doesn’t work).

Wonderful artwork from a student after I spoke to their elementary school class.
Additionally, I removed ads from the kids’ pages. It’s so hard to control what ads are shown via Google Adsense, despite blocklists, and the trend toward confusing ads (that say things like “Click to continue”) is nefarious. I don’t want to confuse kids or anyone. Though I label ads as such — there aren’t that many on my site, but there are a few — it wasn’t worth the worry on the kids’ pages.
But do note that there are some ads here and there outside of the kids’ pages. Hosting my websites is increasingly expensive, so I try to defray the cost. If you want to help, you can always buy something through one of the Amazon links on my post on gear I love and use (I’ll get a tiny bonus if you use one of these affiliate links, and it won’t affect your cost). Or you can Buy Me a Coffee.
Thanks for hanging out!
